Hello
Tor,
During
March we launched the new torproject.org landing pages, using
responsive web design to enhance the end-users experience. We
included 7(seven) languages, and more locales are coming. As we
shared back in Rome, this release is just one small part of the
big website overhaul project.
We
released support.torproject.org back in February, and we will
continue with community.torproject.org next month, and
dev.torproject.org in the following quarter.
Tor
Browser 8.5 is about to reach stable. We worked on both desktop
and android alpha releases. Security Settings, Network Settings,
Onboarding, and the new Icon are going live.
Thanks,
dunqan for working on the onboarding update for this release:
Thanks,
wayward for working on the new Security Settings documentation
for users:
Caroline
is debriefing the user research we ran in India and Indonesia
during Q1. We will share the key findings with the lists
shortly.
Elio
has been working on finalizing OONI Explorer landing pages for
the beta launch. You can sneak peek them here:
In
order to have a better understanding of the project teams, pili
ran a team vision exercise. You can see the outcomes and also
the entire meeting log here. Thanks, pili.
The
Cyborgrrrls Encuentro Tecnofeminista happened in Mexico last
month, and I gave a Tor 101 talk and we discussed how technology
could allow us to shape our identities online.
