Out of curiosity I was looking at this framework (http://bokeh.pydata.org) and stumbled on this thread: https://github.com/bokeh/bokeh/issues/538 It is interesting to follow how they are discussing the headless (no javascript) approach and how they plan to integrate it in their framework (or not).
