Please forgive the newbie question, but does anyone know how often the mirror list is updated? I am aware it's a manual process and I'm just curious because there are a lot of mirrors whose operators have sent removal requests and are still listed, or have sent update requests and are listed with incorrect information (about 20% are unreachable at the moment using the listed information), not to mention the ten or so awaiting testing and addition.

Andrew Lewman was the designated maintainer of the Tor Mirror list. Since he left the Tor Project new people have been assigned to numerous tasks but it looks like the Tor Mirror list got forgotten.
I will poke around a little to see who runs 'this show' now.

Hi, if there's some help needed, I would have some time do to the task. Ping me when you need some helping hands there.

I think quite some people on this list are willing to help out, but it has always been someone directly working under the Tor Project who maintained the list for obvious reasons.
New people have been appointed but it looks like they are still looking for an Executive Administrator (https://blog.torproject.org/blog/tor-weekly-news-%E2%80%94-may-28th-201 5) which sounds like the person who would maintain this list.
