Hello all,
i just created another mirror for the Domain www.torproject.org.
URL: http://tor.mirror.reisenb.at
It should be high availability, as i am using varnish and cloudflare.
Server is multihomed at 50Mbps.
Would be nice to get listed at
https://www.torproject.org/getinvolved/mirrors.html.en
all the best,
Stefan

Thanks for mirroring the site. It seems you're missing all of the images. See http://tor.mirror.reisenb.at/images/ versus https://www.torproject.org/images/.
Loading up the javascript from ajax.cloudflare.com requires me to enter a captcha to load the site. Cloudfare seems to treat tor exit relays specially.
Once you fix the images, I can add you to the mirror listing.
Its rsync'ing right now, so wait some time and it is up to date.
You can add instead tor.reisenb.at, this url is not using Cloudflare!
all the best,
stefan

Great.

I'm not opposed to cloudflare itself. It seems to punish anyone already using Tor for no given reason. Or maybe one site with cloudflare has crossed some threshold with respect to a tor exit. Therefore all cloudflare sites will treat the tor exit the same way regardless of whether the tuple of tor exit and your site have crossed the threshold. I'm unclear how cloudflare is actually working here.
Another thought is that cloudflare gets to track every IP address/computer browsing your mirror. I wonder what it does with this information, such as logging, sharing with law enforcement, advertisers, traffic metrics companies, etc.
It would also be interesting to learn what cloudflare thinks of tor and tor mirrors in general.
