I have opened https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/core/tor/-/issues/40622 to eventually get this resolved. I also put a short term hack in place which should be enough for the moment. ...or who knows, it might also expose fun new surprises and bugs. We'll see. :) Woo, --Roger
