This week OONI published two short reports on blockings in Indonesia and Türkiye:

(1) On 29th July, DuckDuckGo search engine was blocked on at least four networks in Indonesia. The block appears to be implemented by the means of DNS tampering, with some measurements resulting in IPs hosting block pages, which clearly communicate that access is intentionally blocked.

(2) Today, on 2nd August, Instagram was blocked on at least six networks in Türkiye and `www.instagram.com` domain was added to the BTK (Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu) public registry.
