- How do you use the space right now? coding on projects from time to time. - What do you like in it's current state? it's still in its infancy. has the flair of openlab 1.0 - What do you not like in it's current state? besides some minor inconveniences i think the lower door lock policy is the most unfavourable feature of the space. - How would you like to use the space in the future? still coding on projects from time to time. depending on the people also socializing and in general having a good time. - How would you like to have others using the space in the future? coding on projects from time to time. hearing interesting talks from time to time. - Whats your deepest wish for the space? my deepest wish is, that its productive setting will never cease existing. - Whats your DON'T for the the space? don't ruin it via policymaking - Would you like to see more/less $things/$people? i would like to have more people - How to you find it that the space hosts ppl overnight? fine with that. one does meet interesting people this way. - Do you want to have more/less often guests hosted? as long as it's still a hackerspace and not a pure sleeping place i am very fine with people crashing there whenever. - Would you like to see the kitchen more in use, or not? I am kind of ambivalent here. Would be nice to have but its no neccessity. - Would you like to have more tools / hands-on-working area? Nah. No need yet. There are several other spaces in Berlin that provide such services. I don't see that we need tools/digital fabrication for a PET-focused hackerspace (yet). - Would you like to have more/less events, where it gets crowded? Yup why not. As long as theres still plenty time to work in quiet. - Would you like to move more towards "hackspace"? yup - Would you like to move more towards "office space"? naah - Would you like to move more towards "coworking space"? naah - Would you like to have a combination of 2 or 3 of the above? naah - Would you like to see ppl there working on $RandomTech, or rather only/mainly on stuff for-the-better-world? in order to answer this question i'd like to know where you draw teh line. A person working on the next revolutionary wheelchair which grants more mobility is still helping the world even if he does it for profit i guess. - Would you like to see onionspace as a community, or rather not? if the people are cool, why not. - If community, what kind, what kind not? A forced community - What do you think about an "open day" for newbies? sounds nice.
