incorrect data on metrics.torproject.org relay search
Please explain how a Tor relay can have graphs on https://metrics.torproject.org/rs.html#details/506C582367B6ABED6EEF3936DCEB6... since 2023-02-17 but at the same time have "First Seen 2026-04-06 23:00:00 (7 days 9 hours 22 minutes and 50 seconds)" in the data. Why has the "first seen" of my 3 year old relay reset? regards txt.file PS: Am not subscribed to this list.
Hello, The tl;dr is that there was a problem with the data that feeds our api, basically it arrived late. The long explanation: relay-search gets its data from onionoo.torproject.org which resets the first seen field when it doesn't get fresh data from relays. This was caused by data arriving late while we were updating collector.torproject.org. We have almost finished with the transition and things should stabilize soon. When that's the case we will update back the first_seen date. Talk soon, -hiro On 14/4/26 10:27, txt.file via network-health wrote:
