Hi,

if you are using the torproject rpm repo [1]
an update coming from the official fedora repos [2] will override your
tor package and tor will stop working due to differences in the
configuration (user/permission problem).

The fedora package overrules the torproject package due to a higher
version number "-2".

There are basically two options to solve this:

1) switch over to the official fedora packages (and adjust your config)
or
2) exclude the tor package from the official repos via an "exclude=tor"
line in the official .repo files in /etc/yum.repos.d./
and "downgrade" to torproject packages afterwards.
