          vidalia as root, but if you wish to test:<br>
          <ol>
            <li>Open a terminal before you switch to root</li>
            <li>
              <pre><code>xhost local:root</code></pre>
            </li>
            <li>Be aware that any program running as root can now
              manipulate your display<br>
