 > It seems that as of TBB for Linux 1.1.12, the lack of symlink support on
 FAT filesystems actually does break TBB.  This needs to be investigated
 and fixed.

 Marking this ticket as a 'blocker', because a major product does not work
 at all in a recommended configuration.
