Why would it make the Tor network more secure by not publishing the IP 
addresses of middle relays? Moreover, how would Tor be able to build a 
path through middle relays if the IP addresses weren't public? You have 
something like bridges in a middle position in mind here?

Yes, running relays at home is not recommended partly due to the problem 
you are facing. Sorry to hear about that. Here is what we recommend though:
